Shiva Toghyani

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, ABOMR Diplomate

Dr. Toghyani believes that the cornerstone of excellent medical service, which determines the effectiveness of treatment and the quality of outcomes, is an accurate diagnosis. Her goal is to assist doctors in providing the highest standard of care for their patients, by delivering a thorough and detailed radiology report. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Shiva Toghyani earned her DDS degree in 2010. She completed a one year preceptorship followed by a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Masters in Dental Diagnostics at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2016.

Dr. Toghyani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR). She was an assistant professor at the University of Louisville from 2016-2018 and an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2019-2020. She has several publications and book chapters, and is a reviewer for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO).

She has delivered lectures, hands-on instructions, and continuing education courses on various aspects of dental radiology and 3D imaging.

Martina Parrone

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, MS, ABOMR Diplomate

Dr. Martina Parrone graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School in 2003. After practicing general dentistry for five years, managing dental clinics, and consulting for a dental insurance company, she completed a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and obtained a Masters in Dental Science with a focus in Dental Radiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.

Dr. Parrone is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR). In addition to maintaining a private practice and reviewing for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Radiology (OOOO) journal, she enjoys lecturing nationally on various radiology topics, including cross-sectional anatomy, 3D imaging for endodontic evaluation, radiographic pathology, and general information regarding cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Martina lives in California with her husband, two sons, and Catahoula leopard dog. She enjoys being outdoors and practicing hot yoga.
